Stock and parts
The Stock module follows spare parts and consumables: catalogue, levels per warehouse, movements, consumption on work orders, and flags parts below their reorder point.
Parts
Stock > Parts: code, description, unit, category, unit price, supplier, manufacturer reference, reorder point, reorder quantity, lead time, associated equipment. A part can be external: synchronised from the ERP (IES) by the gmao-external-parts-sync job, it cannot be edited in the CMMS. Documents (data sheets, certificates) and photos are attached to the record.
Warehouses and levels
Each site has one or more warehouses (Administration > Organization). The part record shows the stock per warehouse, the total stock, the value, the recent movements and the work orders that plan the part. Parts below reorder point are highlighted in the list and picked up by the AI agent, which can propose a reorder.
Movements
Stock > Stock movements records:
- Receipt: reception of an order or a transfer, with price and reference;
- Issue: consumption outside work orders; consumptions on work orders are generated from the work order record;
- Return: unused part put back into stock;
- Adjustment: stock count, breakage, correction (reason mandatory).
Every movement is time-stamped, attributed to its author and irreversible: a mistake is corrected by an opposite movement.
Stock counts
Stock > Stock counts records counts: a count is created for a warehouse (all stocked references are listed with their theoretical quantity) or arrives from the mobile application (parts counted in the field). The planner adjusts the counted quantities, then validates: each difference becomes an adjustment movement referenced by the count number; a validated count can no longer be edited.
Parts on work orders
The task list plans the parts; at execution, the technician enters the consumed quantity (site or mobile). The stock issue is posted on the site's warehouse at validation, and the cost of parts is added to the maintenance cost of the work order and of the KPIs.
Exports
The SAP PM and Maximo exports of the EPC module include the catalogue and the parts of transferred equipment (see the Handover chapter).
