EPC handover and installation transfer

Updated on 11/4/2026 updated in release 1.19.0

For construction or modification projects, the EPC module (EPC > Handover projects) follows the reception of equipment from the contractor's register up to its transfer to operations in the CMMS, or to the client's CMMS (SAP PM, Maximo).

Project

A project has a code, a name, a site, a status (Draft, Engineering, Construction, Mechanical completion, Pre-commissioning, Handed over, Closed), dates and a responsible person.

Equipment register

The Register tab is fed by Excel import (the template can be downloaded from the screen): tag, name, level, parent, class, manufacturer, model, serial number, expected documents. Each line follows its status: Registered, Delivered, Installed, Tested, Mechanical completion, Commissioned, Transferred. Changes are made line by line or by multiple selection.

Punch list

Reservations raised during inspections are categorised: A โ€“ blocking (prevents mechanical completion), B โ€“ before transfer (prevents transfer), C โ€“ minor. Each item has a responsible person, a due date, a status and photos. The project record counts open items per category.

Preservation

Between delivery and commissioning, equipment must be preserved (shaft rotation, nitrogen check, desiccant...). Standard tasks depend on the equipment class; they are generated for delivered items and executed with a Done or Deviation result. The dashboard flags preservation tasks due.

SPIR

The SPIR tab (Spare Parts Interchangeability Record) consolidates the spare parts proposed by suppliers: file import, consolidation by manufacturer reference, categories (commissioning, two years of operation, safety), quantities and prices. The export is used for the initial order.

Transfer

When the project reaches Pre-commissioning with no open A or B item, Transfer creates the corresponding nodes and meters in the site's asset tree, associates the SPIR parts with the equipment and marks the lines Transferred. The SAP PM (IFLOT, EQUI, MARA, STPO, IP41) and Maximo (LOCATIONS, ASSET, ITEM, SPAREPART, PM) exports produce the Excel load files for the client's CMMS, with functional location codes built according to the Export.* settings.

PDF dossier

Handover dossier produces the project's summary PDF: register progress, punch list, preservation, SPIR, signatures.
