The watch state and the weekly report
The Watch page is the home of Softic.Tender: the table of open tenders ranked by score, readable in a minute. It is computed on every display from the latest collection and the active weighting, and refreshes itself (Auto-refresh setting).
Reading the table
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Score | Composite score 0–100 (mean of the interest and win probability axes). Colour: red at 60 and below, yellow around 75, green at 88 and above. Hovering shows both axes. |
| New | The notice entered the radar since the last weekly report sent (or in the last days, setting "New": days when no report). |
| Deadline / Days left | Submission deadline; red at 3 days or less, amber at 15 days or less. |
| Nature | Letters of the contract type: E engineering, P procurement, C construction, M maintenance (e.g. EPC), PQ prequalification. Derived from the record's categories, otherwise from the title. |
| Estimated amount | Order of magnitude in dollars: > US$100 M, 10–100 M, 1–10 M, < 1 M, not estimated. The est. tag marks an unpublished amount estimated from the sector. |
| Funder type | Multilateral funder, national operator / major, private operator / other, unknown — from the funder score of the rule engine. |
| Source / Link | Original platform; the name opens the notice at the publisher. |
| Note | Automatic observations: imminent deadline, top priority, pursue via partnership, country outside the footprint, outside core business, estimated amount, source to verify, manual entry. |
Clicking a row opens the record. Show detail columns adds the publication date.
Tenders still open but whose deadline has passed are no longer shown (neither in the table, nor in the indicators, nor in the report): the subtitle gives their number and links to the tender list, where they are closed (submitted, abandoned, archived).
Quick filters
The four indicators at the top are also filters: open (all), new, deadline ≤ 15 days, top priority (score ≥ 75). The search box covers reference, title, client and country. For finer filters (country, sector, deadline window), use the Radar.
Export to Excel
Export to Excel produces a workbook in the format of the weekly report, with the current filters:
- Notices: the table, with the colour scale, auto-filter, frozen panes and, collapsed on the right, the detail columns (axes, quadrant, reference, amount, currency, funder, presence, criterion scores);
- Parameters: active weighting profile, sector scales, presence per country, funder markers;
- Source status: last collection of each source (result, notices read / created / skipped, reasons, error), last address check, access mode;
- Not collected: documentary sources of the catalogue and the recommended collection route.
The workbook is a snapshot: it does not recompute anything. The live version is the page.
Receiving the report by e-mail
- E-mail me the report sends the report (e-mail and attached workbook) immediately to your account's address. It does not change the list of new tenders.
- The weekly report is sent automatically by the platform to the recipients defined by the administrator, on the chosen day and hour (Administration > Platform > Weekly report). Recipients do not need to open the application. The e-mail contains the indicators, the first 25 colour-coded notices, the Softic IA briefing when enabled, and the full workbook as an attachment.
Notices stay marked New until the next report: a report's list of new tenders is exactly what entered since the previous one.
Softic IA briefing
Softic IA briefing asks the assistant for a situation report in a few lines: overall picture, notices to handle this week (close deadline and high score), new notices worth attention, watch points. The briefing only receives the table columns — never the free texts of the records — and its cost is counted in AI costs (feature Report), under the instance's monthly budget. Since the project portfolio is available, the briefing also gives our experience and its opinion: for the notices that matter most, the comparable portfolio projects and the past tenders won or lost, then a recommendation (pursue, examine, low priority). Only the table columns and the similar projects' references are sent — never the free texts of the sheets.
Similar projects
The Show similar projects link under the table adds a column per tender: the references level (None / Some / Strong), the number of comparable portfolio projects and of past tenders won / lost, then the three closest projects with their similarity, reference, year and client. View all opens the Project portfolio page ranked by similarity with that tender. The same link hides the column.
In the assistant panel, the suggestions What is new?, What should we handle this week?, Prepare the briefing and Which sources are failing? rely on the same data.
Source status
The Source status link at the bottom shows, for each collected source, the last run and its results, and for documentary sources (without connector) the recommended collection route: assign a connector, check the address, or, for a subscription portal, route its e-mail alerts to a watch mailbox read by the IMAP connector. A padlock marks a source whose access (login, token or certificate) is saved.
