Business settings
Menu Administration > Settings (administrator). Four tabs.
Sources
Creation and editing of sources, in a record with three tabs.
General: name, group, platform address, openness (open, to verify, closed), interval between two collections, order, note, automated collection (by the site scheduler) and active.
Connector: the connector that reads the source — none (documentary source, followed by hand), page reader (HTML), RSS / Atom feed, AfDB, TUNEPS, TED, World Bank or e-mail alerts (IMAP). For each connector, a guided form shows only its relevant settings: address to query, notice link pattern, keywords, countries, number of pages, fallback delay when the deadline is not published, default country and funder… The Advanced mode (JSON) button shows the configuration as stored; in advanced mode the JSON prevails, and Back to the form reads it again.
Access: the portal credentials, encrypted in the database and never shown again, used only by this source's connector. Five modes:
- None — public source;
- Login and password — mailbox account (IMAP connector) or HTTP Basic authentication of a protected API or feed;
- Portal form login — form address, login and password field names, fixed fields, expected text after login; portals with anti-CSRF token, captcha or mandatory JavaScript are not supported;
- Token or API key — as an HTTP header (
Authorization: Bearer …,X-Api-Key) or as an address parameter; - Client certificate (PFX) — file and password encrypted; subject, thumbprint and expiry date are displayed.
A saved secret appears as "saved on …"; typing a new value replaces it, Clear the saved secret removes it. Save and test the access saves the record then runs the connector dry with the access: nothing is written to the radar, and the result (notices read, would be created, skipped, sample) tells whether the access and the settings work.
For a publisher whose terms forbid automated reading, do not enter an access: route its e-mail alerts to a watch mailbox and read it with the IMAP connector. The former passwordKey of the IMAP reader (password in the server configuration) is still accepted, but the Access tab is now the normal route.
Sector keywords
List of words or phrases that match a notice to a sector. A notice may match several keywords; the most frequent sector wins.
Country aliases
Alternative names, abbreviations and codes recognised for each country. An alias shorter than four characters is only recognised by strict equality (whole word), to avoid false positives.
Funder markers
Phrases that identify a funder in a notice (for example "IDA", "AfDB"). They are evaluated in the displayed order: the first marker found sets the funder.
Platform settings (instance identity, Softic AI assistant) are on a separate screen: see Administration.
