API and API keys

Updated on 11/6/2026

The Softic.Invoice API lets an ERP or invoicing software push its invoices, request their processing, read their legal status and fetch the documents. It is described in OpenAPI at /services/swagger and in the integration guide.

API keys

Invoicing > API keys (administrators): one key per calling system. On creation the full key is shown once only: copy it, only its fingerprint is stored. A key can be limited to creating drafts and reading, or allowed to process (issue, sign, submit, cancel). It can expire, be disabled or deleted; its last use is visible.

What the API does

  • POST /api/v1/invoices: creates or updates drafts in JSON (same format as the import), idempotent by external reference, with optional immediate processing.
  • Reading by id, by external reference, or changes since a date (regular polling by the ERP).
  • Actions: issue, sign, submit, process in one call, query the platform, cancel.
  • Legal documents (signed XML, platform response, SAF-T element) and printable invoice in the requested language.
  • Company reference data: regime, tax codes, customers, items.

Invoices created through the API appear in the Invoices screen with, in their history, the name of the key that acted.
